Color Correcting is basically a concealer that helps neutralize specific pigmentation on the face. Whether blemishes or dark pigmentation from scaring, to brightening up dull areas of the face, this is will be the best product for you to use.

The reason color correcting triumphs over using a regular concealer, color correcting will minimize the amount of product you use, as well as give you a better chance of hiding the blemish or scar. Although there are tons of tutorials out there about color correcting my favorite explanation is by Cosmopolitan. Beauty blenders & brushes, the tools of the trade for the cosmetics industry. Sponges and brushes can vary from any shape and form. However the first step to a perfect application is the cleanliness of the tool you use. According to Elle Magazine, brushes should be cleaned about every two weeks.  When brushes or sponges aren’t thoroughly cleanse it harbors tons of bacteria that can lead to breakouts and other serious skin concerns. There are numerous soaps and cleansers that can be used to clean brushes and sponges. It just depends on what you’re looking for.
